I’m doing something brave... I'm jumping out of a plane to help animals in need! RSPCA Victoria’s Inspectors leap into the unknown to protect animals in need, driving over 1 million kilometres across the state and answering over 10,000 cruelty reports last year. More than 7,500 animals came through their doors, each one needing care, safety and a second chance. That’s why I’ve joined Jump for Paws - to raise life-changing funds for those who can’t ask for help themselves. Every single dollar counts, and your donation will help rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals across Victoria. If I hit my goal, I’ll take the leap (literally) with a skydive for animals in need! Wednesday 12th NovI have a long standing affiliation with the RSPCA.
I adopted my cat, Ella, from the RSPCA in 2002 whilst attending Kitten Kindy there with my other cat Jacques.
I adopted my first dog, Bruce, in 2003, as well as cat Kramer.
In 2010, I adopted pug Charlie after she was rescued with many other dogs by the RSPCA inspectorate from a puppy farm. She ended up the poster girl for the end puppy farm campaign in Victoria.
I volunteered in the Burwood shelter in the vet clinic and the kennels, I have held multiple cupcake days at work, sold happy tails merchandise, participated in corporate volunteering, walked in many Million Paws Walks, even had my cat Ella star in an RSPCA calendar!
What else is there to do?
Jump out of a plane of course!
If I raise $1,000, I will jump out of a plane over St Kilda beach on 21 February 2026, and you can watch! (Sorry, watch only, not push).
All funds raise go towards supporting the RSPCA and their work.
