RSPCA Victoria’s Inspectors leap into the unknown to protect animals in need, driving over 1 million kilometres across the state and answering over 10,000 cruelty reports last year. More than 7,500 animals came through their doors, each one needing care, safety and a second chance. That’s why I’ve joined Jump for Paws - to raise life-changing funds for those who can’t ask for help themselves. Jump for Paws: Skydiving for the Animals Who Need Us Most - and for MAVERICK
Tuesday 25th NovThis year, I’m taking on something big. Something bold. Something a little bit terrifying… well, not really for me, but would be for most.....
I’m jumping out of a plane! (again)✈️🪂
But I’m not doing it just for the adrenaline rush. I’m doing it to raise
desperately needed funds for the RSPCA and the animals who rely on them every
single day.
My goal is to raise $1,000, and once we hit that milestone, I take
the leap — literally — in support of every animal in care who deserves safety,
love, and a second chance.
Why This Matters So Much to Me
Recently, I had to say goodbye to my beautiful boy, Maverick. Losing him has
left a space in my heart that will never quite be filled. He was goofy, loyal, silly, gentle, and full of personality — the kind of dog who made even the
simplest moments feel so special.
The last time I went skydiving, we didn’t bring Maverick along to watch. And
now, as I prepare to jump again, I like to imagine he will be watching this
time — from his cosy spot in rainbow heaven, tail wagging, cheering me on. This
jump is for him. This JUMP is for my MAVERICK! 🐶🌈

The RSPCA does life-changing work — rescuing animals from cruelty, providing
medical care, rehabilitating them, and helping them find loving new homes. They

Taking the Leap for Love
Jumping out of a plane is scary. Losing Maverick was heartbreaking. But doing
something meaningful in his honour — something that helps other animals — feels
right. It feels healing. And I know he’d be proud.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart (and Maverick’s paw prints on it) for
helping me reach this goal. Together, we can support the RSPCA and make sure
more animals get the care, compassion, and second chances they deserve.
